Each year, our congregation assembles at a campground for fellowship and instruction. We invite a guest speaker, typically another pastor or seminary professor from within the Northwest Presbytery, to provide instruction on a particular topic.
We also share meal preparation and cleanup duties, compete in recreational games, and celebrate our relationship with God through campfire songs.
Our Family Camp for 2010 took place at Camp Wilkerson from July 27 to July 30. Dr. John Battle, president of Western Reformed Seminary and former pulpit supply for CBPC, taught on the subject of apologetics.
